Bar girl killer arrested

MUMBAI: Chembur police on Monday arrested Mohammed Khan (36), the boyfriend of the deceased bar girl who was found murdered in Indira Nagar in Chembur on Sunday.
Deceased identified as Manju Verma was found murdered with serious wounds over her body. The body was discovered by her parents who had come down from their native village in Rajasthan to visit Verma who was missing since five days.Verma, who had moved to Mumbai two years back looking for a job, used to live in a slum in Indira Nagar camp with her three siblings and was working as a bargirl in a bar in Navi Mumbai.
During the course of investigations it transpired that she used to have an affair with Khan. During interrogations Khan broke and spill the beans on the motive behind killing her. He told police that she was having an affair with him but since few months, she was avoiding him which made him believe that she was having affairs with some other man. This led to a heated arguments on May 26. And She also passed a comment that he was impotent while he was having sex with her and this trigger anger and Khan in fit or rage hit her with a pan and killed her.
